In November, Nelly will be exploring Bhutan for the very first time, through a series of epic activities with One Globe.

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan Int’l Airport, our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel and help you check in.
You’ll have rest of the day at leisure.
Arrive in Bhutan, Land of the Thunder Dragon! Head straight to Thimphu, capital of Bhutan from the airport (Paro).
Explore parts of the city and enjoy the local street market.
Today you will visit a few landmarks of Thimpu city including Buddha Point, the world tallest Buddha statue. This will give you an excellent view of Thimpu city.
From Buddha Point your 1st hike will take you to Depsi village. As you follow the trails it can be narrow and steep, so proceed with caution. You'll pass through forests, small streams, and possibly encounter local wildlife.
You will also encounter other small villages, giving you a glimpse of rural life in Bhutan.
Today you will travel to Punakha city via Dochula Pass (3100 meters).
The highlight will be your trek to Lungchutse Monastery. The trail takes you through lush, dense forests filled with rhododendron, oak, and pine trees.
You might spot various bird species and other wildlife native to Bhutan. As you ascend, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Himalayan range, including peaks like Masang Gang, Tsendegang, and Gangkar Puensum.
The monastery is perched on a ridge and offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. It’s a serene and spiritual place where you can rest, meditate, and enjoy the tranquilities. Explore the monastery, interact with any monks present, and enjoy a small picnic.
Today in Punakha, from your campsite you will experience the thrilling rafting adventure of Bhutan.
After instruction and safety drills you will be rafting on the Mo Chu River, known for its clear waters and moderate rapids, it provides an excellent experience suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters. The adventure typically lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, covering a distance of around 10-15 kilometers
The Mo Chu River features Class II to III rapids, which provide a fun and moderately challenging experience. Expect some thrilling rapids interspersed with calmer sections where you can enjoy the scenery.
Today the first half you will enjoy the mountain bike trials of Bhutan in Paro city. The bike ride is a fantastic way to explore the scenic beauty of the Paro Valley and its surroundings.
The duration is about 4-5 hours covering a distance of 16 kms. The trail is a mixed of paved and dirt roads with some moderate uphill sections. For the 2nd half of the day your trek will start from Chele Pass at 3800 meters to Kila Monastery.
Your highest point will be at 4500 meters giving you an excellent view of Mt Kangchenjunga on a clear day.
Today you will hike to the most popular sight of entire Bhutan, Tigers Nest also known as “Taktsang”. It is one of Bhutan’s most iconic and rewarding hikes.
Perched on a cliffside at 3,120 meters (10,236 feet) above sea level, the monastery offers breathtaking views and a profound spiritual experience. The legend of Tiger’s Nest adds a mystical and divine dimension to the 17th century monastery, making it a cherished site for both spiritual seekers and tourists.
The story of the divine Buddhist sage, Guru Rinpoche who rode on a tigress and meditated on this cliff continues to inspire reverence and awe among Bhutanese and visitors alike.
